I say this about a lot of different flowers, but I really think that my favorite flower is the lilac. I just can't help loving the way they smell! And they are so pretty - it is like one big flower, that is made up of hundreds of little tiny flowers. Amazing what can happen when something so small sticks together! Their only drawback, I've found, is they tend to harbor lots of tiny spiders...which makes me a little less fond of them when I bring them into the house!
